Course Draft is a homeschool curriculum planning app that helps parents and educators generate personalised lesson plans for their students. This policy explains what information the app uses, where it is stored, and how it is protected.
Course Draft stores the following information that you provide:
This information is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework and, if you are signed into iCloud, synchronised privately across your own Apple devices via CloudKit. Your data is stored in your personal iCloud account and is not accessible to us.
Curriculum generation is powered by Apple Intelligence, which runs entirely on your device. Your student information and curriculum notes are never transmitted to external servers for AI processing. No data leaves your device as part of the generation process.
Course Draft does not collect, store, or share:
We have no servers that receive your data and no visibility into the content you create within the app.
Course Draft is designed for use by parents and educators to manage curriculum for children in their care. The app is not directed at children and is not intended to be used by children independently. Student names and details entered into the app are stored solely on your device and your personal iCloud account under your control. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
Course Draft offers optional in-app purchases including an annual subscription and a lifetime access option. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information. Purchase records are managed entirely by Apple and are subject to Apple's Privacy Policy.
If you are signed into iCloud on your device, your data is synced across your devices using Apple's CloudKit service. This sync occurs between your own devices under your Apple ID. Your iCloud data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
All data created in Course Draft is stored on your device and in your iCloud account. You can delete individual student profiles, curricula, or all app data at any time from within the app. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data. To remove iCloud data, delete the app on all devices or manage your iCloud storage through your device's Settings.
If this privacy policy changes in a material way, the updated date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
